SplitCoast Stampers Color Challenge Guest Designer

Hiya Stampers!

I hope you all have been doing well. We’ve been doing all the fun things when you move….unpacking and setting up house, lol 😉 I haven’t finished my craft room yet but was prompted to hurry up and make a card for the color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers. I was asked to be a guest designer for the month of July, so of course I couldn’t let a little thing like disorganization get in the way!!!!

Here’s the color combo they gave us to work with:

Here’s my card sample:

I kept it pretty simple and made a focal image with a white on white panel. Here’s a close up:

I love all the diecuts along with the lovely flowers in this stamp set, I thought it paired nicely with the embossing folder. Here’s another view:

SCS is doing a fun challenge this month, “Christmas in July”. So, I used a fun stamp set to easily pull it off. The color combo is bright and happy, which we really needed in my family right now. My nephew was in a horrible car wreck last week. Praise God he survived, but it was life and death for a day or so. He has a miracle testimony, that’s for sure. I just got off the phone with him, what a truly awesome thing!!!!

Anyhoo, I was so honored to be apart of the first card for this month’s design team!!!! Very EXCITNG!!!!!

Please keep my nephew Aaron in yours prayers, he will have a long road ahead of him and he’s scheduled for another surgery tomorrow morning. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a blessed night. ❤

Rosy Sketch

Hiya Stampers!

I hope you all have been doing well. We’ve been so busy here. We just bought a house and we are closing on Tuesday, so been super busy with packing. I am excited to set up my new craft room soon!!!! Been shopping for just the right stuff for organization and furniture. I will definitely be sharing my craft room once it’s all put together. I might even do a video. I haven’t done a video in years. In fact, I went back not long ago and hid most of them from the public, lol. They were so bad 😉

For today’s card I’m doing a sketch from SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the sketch they gave us to work with:

Here’s what I came up with:

As you can see, I used the Everything Is Rosy Bundle. It only has 30 more minutes until you cannot purchase it anymore!!!

I will admit it, this sketch challenge was a definite challenge for me. Every card I tried out looked so busy and way too, too much….if you get my drift, lol. Finally, I was at least more happy with this card then any other ones. I did enlarge the vellum circle die cut from the sketch a tad, but it just felt too busy other wise…..I wanted to tone down all the patterned papers.

I really do love this kit and hope that Stampin’ Up! will do more bundles like this!!!

Have a very blessed weekend ❤
