I Hope you have been good. I’ve been doing OK, just not the best at keeping up with my blog. Life gets in the way 😉
I’m sharing a quick birthday card that I made for my daughter’s friend. I had fun coloring the images with my Blends, which I haven’t done in awhile. Oh, and I also used my Wink of Stella glitter pen to give it some shimmer here and there.
I used the adorable Hey Girlfriend Stampin Up! stamp set, but sadly it’s retired now. The paper is from the clearance section of JoAnn’s. The dies come from Stampin’ Up! :
Rectangle Stitched Framelits and Scallop Contours Dies. My ribbon is also retired….sorry. Even though I am a Stampin’ Up! demo, I’m just a hobby one…..never been good at the selling part, lol. I just use stuff that makes me happy!
Well, that’s it for today, thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week! ❤
I’m so sorry that it’s been awhile since I last posted. Honestly, I’m not the best at keeping up my blog and I can’t promise to do better because every time I do, I never follow through! 😦
I’m the worst, but sometimes I do post quick cards on my Instagram but never get around to blogging about it…..so, you can always follow me there 😉
Todays’ card is for the color challenge over atSplitCoast Stampers. These colors are so my jam, so of course I made a quick card. Here’s the colors they gave us:
Here’s my card:
Such fun and happy colors and I needed a birthday card, win, win!!!!
Here’s a close up:
I used Pretty Perennials stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up!
Here’s another view:
I also used the new sneak peak Scallop Contours dies from the annual catty fixin’ to come out. I watercolored the background before diecutting it. The sentiment was cut using the Tasteful Labels dies. These colors are bright and happy and we sure need more of that in today’s world.
Well, that’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed weekend. ❤
I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. We sure did. I’m sorry that I haven’t been blogging much, just busy and life….nothing new, lol 😉
I made these cards last week and just never had time to blog about them. No challenges or anything, however I was inspired by some store bought Christmas cards that I saw somewhere.
I just made some in mass production to get a stash for Christmas time. I used the Buffalo Check background stamp using black ink on Real Red cardstock. Then I heat embossed the tree image from Winter Woods stamp set in white embossing powder. I used a retired punch to punch out the different sentiments. Finally, I tied different baker’s twine around the card from my stash.
Well, that’s it for today. I hope you like my cards. Have a very blessed evening. ❤
I hope you all have been doing well. Sorry I haven’t been sharing much lately but I’ve been super busy. I’ve been getting ready to open a booth here in the Houston area (Champions Forest). The company is called The Painted Tree Boutiques and I’m really excited….and nervous. So I’ve been making lots of stuff to fill my space up. They moved the grand opening from Nov. 1st to the first of the year now, which gives me a little more time….which I will need, lol 😉
Anyways, so I was definitely pleasantly surprised to be contacted by SplitCoast Stampers telling me that I was chosen as this weeks’s Featured Stamper! How fun and exciting!!! So I decided to join in the fun and make a card cased from my own Gallery. Of course this is a sad card to make….I really need to make a bunch of these to have on hand from now on.
Here’s my card I cased:
Here’s the new card I made from my inspiration card:
I actually had fun looking through my own gallery. Some of my cards are really old, well….from when I first started papercrafting! The cards from the other stampers are so awesome to see how they got inspiration from my projects!!! It’s an honor and humbling at the same time. The crafting community is fun and friendly, perfect match 😉
Here’s some close ups:
I really went with the sketch from my original card and flower theme….adding some changes here and there which always makes CASEing so fun! I also thought that a monochromatic color scheme was appropriate instead of the bright and bold colors of my original card. I used Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite inks and Sahara Sand card stock.
Here’s another look:
I used a few retired items mixed with some new products, loving the Prized Peony bundle from the Annual catty. I stamped it in Basic Gray and heat embossed it on watercolor paper. Then just watercolored the image using the different inks.
I used the gray blender pens to color my pearls. I also lightly splattered the background to add texture. I watercolored some of the diecuts directly onto Sahara Sand cardstock to make them a tad darker for interest.
So even though I used inspiration from a similar card (flowers and the sketch), as you can see they look so different!!! Don’t you just love crafting?
Well, that’s it for today, thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week! ❤
Oh, and go on over to SplitCoast Stampers and join in the fun!!! 😉
Hiya Stampers! Today I’m sharing some fun little treat boxes.
I had so much fun making these from the Little Treats Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2020 Holiday Mini Catalog. The box die makes it simple and easy to put this together. I used the fun Plaid Tidings 6X6 DSP. Love this patterned paper.
I did use a few retired things cause I was just grabbing stuff, lol 😉
Well, that’s it for today. I hope you like these little treat boxes, thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed week ❤
I hope ya’ll are doing well. For today’s share, I was just playing with new product from the Holiday Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! So, no challenges…..only fun 😉
Here’s some pics:
All of the products used are from the Heartwarming Hugs Suite as well as the Glided Autumn Suite and a few other products here and there. Both of these bundles are just gorgeous.
Well, I hope you like my project, thanks so much for stopping by. Have a very blessed weekend ❤
Today’s card is for the color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the colors they gave us:
Here’s what I came up with:
I water colored and fussy cut the bouquet of flowers using Magenta Madness and Shaded Spruce inks. Then I used blends on the stem of the flowers in Shaded Spruce for the jar, just because they went over the stamped water and didn’t want it muddying it up. I also added the Night of Navy to the water colored flowers as it’s in the neutral family.
Here’s a close up:
I used the twine and pink gems from my stash. I white embossed the sentiment onto Just Jade cardstock. I also stamped off 3 times to get a lighter version of color from Night of Navy ink for the water in the jar.

Well, that’s it for today. I hope you like my card. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed weekend ❤
