Hey there, Pumpkin

Hey there Stampers!

Today’s card is for two challenges. The first challenge is over at Global Design Project. Here’s the fun sketch they gave us to work with:

GDP210

Here’s what I came up with:

72244513_389024092047534_6984522245351669760_n

I used the sweet little stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Harvest Hellos again, this time a pumpkin card instead of an apple. I love how versatile this stamp set is, especially the matching punch!

Here’s a close-up:

72189938_504829886771722_2045620638785208320_n

I added a touch of Wink of Stella on the pumpkin to add a little shimmer.

The other challenge is over at Sunday Stamps. Here’s the fall color combo they gave us for inspiration:

SSC215

Here’s another view of my card:

73298473_385292385682567_8117739754264461312_n

The charcoal-blue-gray color was hard to match perfectly, but I think Pretty Peacock was  closest as I had.  I watercolored the pumpkin in the orange and yellow colors, then punched it out. Simple and quick card but lots of fun to make!

Well, thank you for stopping by and have a blessed weekend! ❤

White Christmas with pop of Red

Hey Bleeps (blog peeps)!

I hope you all have been doing good. Sorry it’s been awhile, you know how it goes…..life and with Thanksgiving it’s been a bit busier. I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with friends & family!

Today’s card is not for any challenges. Just something that I wanted to try out. It’s a conglomeration of lots of white cardstocks with a pop of color…..hence the title, lol 😉

46749918_256336971680008_4185358845842817024_n_edited

I dry embossed the white naturals cardstock  and made it a shaker card. I filled it with snowballs and white fine glitter from my stash.

46820737_2233656310250990_4550610887693565952_n_edited

I inked up the deer with the shimmer paint, let it dry overnight then sponged the red over top after die cutting it out.

46519595_1396275167174873_8880148031861686272_n_edited

I used some glitter tape from my stash to die cut out one of the snowbanks. Then I added some shimmery embossing paste over the top. After drying over night I glued it on top on the other snowbank.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope the rest of your Thanksgiving weekend is a blessed one ❤

Blueberry Christmas Tree

Hiya Stampers!

Long time no post, lol 😉

Sorry, life gets in the way sometimes of my crafting fun. Cest-la-vie :0

Today’s card is for the color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers! Here’s the fun color combo they gave us:

colourlovers_com_cc711_0759d4aff853f948df7118a06e4e7a6d564cd0e7

Here’s my take on it:

45318509_575727292846753_2052127540008452096_n

I did use some retired Cherry Cobbler ribbon, love it! I added the dessert option which was to add sparkle to your project. I added Wink of Stella splatters and Shimmery White embossing paste.

Here’s a close up:

45284381_2129794780673526_7615896052909998080_n

I also added two pearl decorative pins in the ribbon from my stash to finish it off. I added dimensions under each pop out tree branch……on this angle that I took this particular pic you can see it peeking out, but you don’t see them otherwise 😉

Here’s another view:

45269004_193906511531436_4100888572981149696_n_edited

I just noticed that you can see the splatter on the ribbon too, lol! I actually had to do two coats of the shimmery white paste for good coverage, it made it super thick  and dimensional. I used the Thinlits from the now retired Blended Seasons bundle. I thought it really made a difference in the way the card turned out.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by and have a blessed weekend ❤

Fall Heart Card

Hiya Stampers!

I haven’t got to create any cards lately. I’ve been busy on and off with a big sewing project and it’s not going so well. This card didn’t go so well either, I’ll tell you in a bit. I wasn’t going to share it, but decided to go ahead. Life isn’t perfect and we all have those days, am I right? Has that ever happened to you? 😉

This card is for two challenges. The first challenge is for Global Design Project. Here’s the theme they gave us.

GDP159_Theme_Fall-in-Love

Here’s my take on it:

43823208_1888874184537448_2327211884555534336_n_edited

Can you see the mess up? The ink smeared on the tree when I added the shaker top part.  Oh, well, I certainly wasn’t going to start over since I did that part last. I’ll end up giving it to somebody that won’t care, lol 🙂

The next challenge is over at SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the sketch they gave us. As you can see, I did an interpretation of the sketch instead of straight forward.

heart

I love this Buffalo Check background stamp. It does take a little bit of practice to get a crisp image though, I will warn you. With a stamp positioning tool it really helps a bunch!

Well, hopefully you still liked my sample card. Thank you so much for stopping by, have a blessed weekend ❤

Country Home Challenge

Hiya Stampers,

Today’s card is for the challenge over at Global Design Project. Here’s the fun color combo they gave us to use:

GDP157_Colour_Challenge

Here’s what I came up with:

42787984_480630622449606_1181013335206789120_n

I water colored the image using the colors they asked us to, plus a couple more for the cattails and milk jug. This is one of my favorite stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog!

Here’s a close up:

42842285_300625157192921_2564471543048437760_n

This ribbon is amazing, I love, love, love it! I used a retired doily on my project again….gotta use them up since I have a ton, lol 😉

Here’s another view:

42724823_343429456232826_5407723666613993472_n

This DSP is so beautiful I almost feel bad about cutting it……but I’m such a paper hoarder as it is that I am going to force myself to use it! I love these die cuts, they are so fun to use on your projects. I used the small cut out for my sentiment and made it a banner flag.

Well, thank you so much for stopping by! Have a very blessed day ❤

Country Challenge Card

Hiya Stampers,

Today’s card is for two challenges. One is over at Global Design Project. Here’s the designer’s pretty card they gave us to CASE:

GDP156

Here’s my take on it:

42341862_1896354270452006_7491890975455838208_n(1)

My card is pretty much the sketch she used. I used a different stamp set though but did add a flower image to kinda go along with hers as well.

Here’s a close up:

42230601_703385380018651_7545173081304596480_n(1)

I fussy cut the image since I embossed the background. I also added some ‘fluff’ to the cotton stems with a snow marker I found at my local craft store.

The next challenge is over at SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the fun color combo they gave us to use:

colourlovers_com_cc705_7d015684c4c3be2b5aa6d54330e52f009cd1532f

Here’s another view of my card:

42320522_530997117350990_8499683477841510400_n(1)

I actually colored in the image with some retired SU! alcohol markers that work fine still. I do plan on getting the new sets of Stampin’ Blends as well. I can’t wait to try them out!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed weekend! ❤

Pink Christmas Tree

Hey Bleeps (blog peeps)!

Today’s card is for a fun color combo challenge over at Sunday Stamps. These colors really caught my eye, here’s what they gave us to work with:

SSC187

Here’s what I came up with:

42098038_174859680024677_8975696678942146560_n(1)

We have to use at least three colors on our project. I chose Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron and Night of Navy. I love pink Christmas trees, don’t you? I have a Christmas tree that’s a light pink dress form…..I actually have three dress form ones, plus a regular Christmas tree too! Yes, I love Christmas 😉

Here’s a close up of this gorgeous Christmas tree image from the new Winter Woods stamp set:

42044807_2082526188629891_1330740353321402368_n(1)

I added some dimensionals behind each cut out on the tree to make them stand out as well as some Wink of Stella for some shimmer to the ends. I stamped the tree image full strength once and then stamped off, then die cut both trees out. I stacked them on top of each other to give some texture and added dimension.

Here’s another view:

41990627_329369761161676_3025115680421707776_n(1)

I used just some ribbon from my stash and it actually matched pretty good I thought. I used the card from page 27 from the Holiday Catalog as inspiration for my card. Just changing the colors and some elements here and there. I love to CASE projects and then changing a few things to make them my own. I sometimes dream of card designs or colors, does anyone else do that?

Well, thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you like my sample card for this challenge. Have a blessed day ❤

Dashing Deer Challenge

Hiya Stampers!

Today’s card is for the challenge over at Global Design Project. Here’s the sketch they gave us to work with:

Here’s what I came up with:

41344627_542688436159560_1195888993091190784_n

I found it hard to measure this sketch, but pretty much kept to it 😉

Here’s a close up:

I really like this green newsprint background from this limited time Dashing Along DSP!

Here’s another view of my card:

41550838_675692839496728_3186200602111639552_n

It’s a is fairly simple and straight forward card, which is great cause I haven’t had much time to stamp this week and this took me literally 15 minutes from start to finish!!!! Love it when that happens. Oh, and the Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine is retired unfortunately.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day! ❤

First Frost Card

Hey Stampers!

Today’s card is for two challenges. The first challenge is a sketch challenge for Global Design Project. Here’s the sketch:

GDP150

Here’s what I came up with:

38802804_275735326539577_3578137112563679232_n

The second challenge is a color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the pretty color combo they gave us to use:

colourlovers_com_cc699_6afc734190f5830f17c63e1a1baf4a24bd2f4938

Close up of the lovely flowers from this beautiful stamp set!!!

38914202_2118552555132936_2626001291775574016_n

I just used accents of the Berry Burst with the bottom layer and then the punched scalloped cardstock…..oh, as well as the sentiment stamped in Berry Burst. I used some bling to add some interest and pretty much stuck to the sketch.

38794499_1941061495955921_2374415104146931712_n

I frayed the ends of the Blackberry Bliss twine (matches close enough for me) after I made a bow and then added it on with liquid glue to make sure it stayed. I absolutely love, love, love this stamp set, well the whole suite actually!!!! I can guarantee that you will be seeing this bundle a lot, lol 🙂

Tomorrow is the last day for the Paper Pumpkin promotion where you get 50% off your first month!!!!! Click here to find out more, don’t miss out on this wonderful deal!!!!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day ❤
