Soft Christmas Rose

Hello Stampin’ Friends!

Today’s card is for the color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the lovely colors they gave us to work with:

cc765_60da09ce8b42a6172e052c1133bc3c48a303a2a0

And here’s what I came up with:

75316047_420581482170162_2375739719305658368_n

The dessert option was to add metallic. So I added some gold metallic thread behind the floral diecut as well as a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots for fun.

Here’s a close up:

I stamped the Christmas Rose stamp set onto Watercolored Paper in Versa Mark ink using white embossing powder. I water colored the image using my Aqua Painter using the color combo they gave us to use. This gave it a softer look.

Here’s another view:

I let it dry in between so I could keep adding more color, so it wouldn’t be so drowned out by all the white. I then diecut the image and popped it up unto dimensionals to make it pop up against the whitewashed wood DSP. I then inked the sentiment from the Christmas Time is Here bundle using Soft Suede. I buffed over the white embossing powder with a microfiber cloth once everything was dry, or so I thought….it did smear a tad, not a big deal to me 😉

Well, I hope you like my card. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week ahead! ❤

Beautiful Friendship quick card

Hello Stampin’ Friends!

I have a simple and quick card I made for the color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers.

Here’s the cute color combo they gave us for inspiration:

colourlovers_com_cc764_99817c4a49a2772d12aeae61d150c4a775766e1c

Here’s what I came up with:

74311771_528772664339419_4492064792617418752_n

I had an entire card all ready to go, then it got ruined!!!! I had to quickly come up with something fast! That’s why I chose the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. It can make simple but stunning cards fast 😉

Here’s a close up:

74438089_2532935376741479_7173903824631889920_n

I had the sentiment stamped already inside the stamp case and dug through my shapes pile of extras to add behind it. The ribbon was in my stash collection, so all I had to do was stamp the flowers.

Here’s another view:

I used my Stampin’ Write Black Marker to flick little splotches of ink onto the cardstock to pull in the black from the sentiment. Super simple, but really cute when you have to do a fast card. I just love Stampin’ Up! they make things easy, even if you aren’t an artist!

Well thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you like my card sample. Have a blessed week ahead ❤

Bright and Rosy

Hiya Stampers!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Today’s card is for the color challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers.

Here’s the color combo they gave us:

colourlovers_com_cc763_9aa3a0d9149adfb513de56fb4e769ed44243353d

Here’s what I came up with:

75398375_2402103856729346_8244777731464626176_n

Aren’t these colors fun together? I stamped off once on the small blooms to contrast stamping the full strength in the center. Then stamped off in the center for the larger bloom.

Here’s a close-up:

74602851_687051795428147_257314716223799296_n

I used the label from the Stitched Labels Dies for the focal point of my greeting. I often forget about this gorgeous die, it gives a feminine softness to any design.

Here’s another view:

The ribbon is retired but I so love it and resisted making a bow, but instead just folded it behind the label .  I used the Stampin’ Up! Everything is Rosy bundle kit, it’s on the Clearance Rack now so go grab it up while you can! 😉

Well, I hope you like my card, thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed week ahead! ❤

Fall thanks

Hiya Stampers!

Todays card share is for the color challenge at SplitCoast Stampers.

Here’s the color combo they gave us to play with:

Here’s what I came up with:

72905316_416676872379962_5540672132993777664_n

I used Crumb Cake as a neutral to add a little more interest as I felt Whisper White was too much of a stark contrast. I love this stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Rooted in Nature.

Here’s a close-up:

75456700_944349875933004_4389505083872641024_n

I used Well Written Dies to diecut the “thanks” out of watercolored paper. I used a sponge dauber to sponge some Merry Merlot using the Ombre technique on it, blending light to darker.

Here’s another view:

73395371_402280960445816_8993570077970268160_n

I fussy cut the wood slice from the stamp set to have an anchor for the sentiment. It didn’t look quite right without something in the background to me.

I love this ribbon combo from the Holiday Mini catty called Come to Gather. The DSP paper is retired now, but loved how the stripes added a little sumthin’, sumthin’. 😉

All the leaves tucked behind the greeting were stamped then diecut out using the matching dies from this stamp set. I added some yellow sequins to finish off the card.

Well, thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week! ❤

O’ Christmas Trees

Here’s what I came up with:

73342881_2443415065772125_3513518388997521408_n

I love this color combo with this stamp set! It’s from the Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up! It’s called Perfectly Plaid.

Here’s a close-up:

72713811_477735802834003_4308670526596841472_n

I did use some retired DSP for the paper as well as the ribbon from the Everything is Rosy kit that retired. Did you know that the kit is now on the clearance rack? It’s such a pretty and fun kit to play with, get it while you can…..ask me how!  I recently stopped my online SU! website. I’m just a hobby demo and decided to not pay for a website since I’m my biggest customer, lol.  I would be happy to help you order anytime through me, so please contact me to learn more! 😉

This card came together fast using the matching punch. I love simple and quick cards, don’t you?

Well, that’s it for today. I hope you like my card sample. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed night! ❤

Hey there, Pumpkin

Hey there Stampers!

Today’s card is for two challenges. The first challenge is over at Global Design Project. Here’s the fun sketch they gave us to work with:

GDP210

Here’s what I came up with:

72244513_389024092047534_6984522245351669760_n

I used the sweet little stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Harvest Hellos again, this time a pumpkin card instead of an apple. I love how versatile this stamp set is, especially the matching punch!

Here’s a close-up:

72189938_504829886771722_2045620638785208320_n

I added a touch of Wink of Stella on the pumpkin to add a little shimmer.

The other challenge is over at Sunday Stamps. Here’s the fall color combo they gave us for inspiration:

SSC215

Here’s another view of my card:

73298473_385292385682567_8117739754264461312_n

The charcoal-blue-gray color was hard to match perfectly, but I think Pretty Peacock was  closest as I had.  I watercolored the pumpkin in the orange and yellow colors, then punched it out. Simple and quick card but lots of fun to make!

Well, thank you for stopping by and have a blessed weekend! ❤

Two Cards a Little Different

Hi There Stampers!

I hope you’ve had a great day.

Today’s card is for the challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers. Here’s the color combo they gave us to use:

cc760_bf16c1fc713757aa56f93a6bc4cc9b883742b882

Here’s what I came up with:

72204084_3651242858234660_6920409327199059968_n

I used the new Stampin’ Up! stamp set Snow Front from the holiday catty. I didn’t make a snowy scene but I think it still works.

Here’s a close-up:

I decided after making the first panel on Whisper White cardstock that I would see how it looked on watercolored paper as well. I went over the images with a little water and I love how vivid the results were! These colors are so fun to use together 😉

Here’s another view:

72544523_512668982850061_219631712550780928_n

So, essentially the same card, just done a little differently. The dessert option was using a silhouette on your card which makes it pretty easy with this stamp set using the cute little deer image. Can you see the difference? Which one do you like the best?

Well, I hope you like my cards. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day ❤

An Apple Card

Hiya Stampers!

I hope you have had a blessed weekend!

Today’s card is for the color challenge over at Global Design Project!

Here’s what they gave us to work with:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Real Red

Here’s what I came up with:

72189935_2413533072196175_2897382687318736896_n

I used the fun new Stampin’ Up! stamp set Harvest Hellos from the Holiday Catty. The background blueberry bushel  buffalo check paper was left over from a paper pumpkin kit.

Here’s a close up:

71516220_1018533295144344_1126388266099015680_n

I stamped the apple in real red onto watercolor paper and then watercolored the apple with the ink. I also stamped the stem and leaf then watercolored them as well. I used the punch to punch it all out after it was dried.

Here’s another view:

72266338_375340340040650_2721252224607977472_n

The red bakers twine is from my stash and the red sequins are retired, I think. Well, I hope you like my card and thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed evening! ❤

Have a Lovely Day Card

Hiya Stampers!

I’m happy to announce that I will be a Guest Designer for the next two months on the SplitCoast Stampers Color Challenge team. I had so much fun last time, but this is for two months, not one. Woo-hoo, I’m so excited to be among some very talented crafters! 😉

So, here’s the color combo they gave us for this weeks challenge:

colourlovers_com_cc758_b8af0f1cdef22fc0c9a482b4bce0ab01ba5334a3

And here’s my take on it:

72116396_923857424659119_108198266365018112_n

My card is fairly simple and straight forward. I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Forever Lovely.  Mango Melody is the base color for my card as well as the stamped sentiment.

Here’s a close up:

71516218_524032168170113_3597327262665408512_n

I stamped the sweet flower image with Rococo Rose, stamping off on the mirror image on the bottom. I then stamped the leaves around the flowers in Pear Pizzazz. I punched the sentiment and added all the diecuts tucked behind in all three colors to pull it all together.

Here’s another view:

Well, I hope you like my card sample. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week ❤
