Greeting Card Kids Challenge

Hiya Stampers!

Today’s card is for two challenges. The first challenge I’m entering is for the theme challenge over at Global Design Project. Here’s the theme they gave us to work with:

Here’s what I came up with:

Since we homeschool now, I don’t have anything really school related at all……but I never got rid of this wonderful retired Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Greeting Card Kids. It’s one of my faves and some things I will always keep 😉 My pink bling is just from my stash and thought they matched her dress pretty good.

Here’s a close up:

These little cuties have always reminded me of my twins when they were little. This stamp set has a vintage feel to it and it’s precious. I simply water colored the image onto water color paper and stamped the greeting onto Whisper White cardstock. I cut the image out with a circle die and added it with dimensionals. I also added dimensionals to pop up the greeting. The buffalo checked Blueberry Bushel piece was from last month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit Picnic Paradise that I had left over. It has a tissue type texture to it and I thought it fit perfectly.

The next challenge is from Sweet Stampin’ Challenge Blog. I came across their website recently and remembered them fondly as I used to do their challenges all the time on my old blog!!!!! Love happy accidents like that, don’t you?

Here’s the sketch they gave us to work with:

Well, I hope you like my card for these two fun challenges. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day ❤
